Camp Rio prides itself on providing a safe, clean, relaxing, family boutique family campground located 6500 feet above stress. We are honored to have you and your family/ other guests stay with us and we only hope you enjoy yourself here as much as we love being here and hosting you. We are also groovy with pets on a leash, group events etc. Call or email and we will be honored to help make your dream a reality.
We have RV Camping, Tent Sites, Glamping and Cabins. All of our RV Sites are full hook up and a mix of 30 and 50 Amp service availability.
Updates - These can most quickly be seen in our weekly-ish newsletter updates. Please visit our contact us page and provide your name and email, this site does not lead capture, therefore we can't respond to any inquiries or questions unless that information is in the comments section.
Winter 2025 - 2026 is winding down even though we are experiencing super mild and pleasant weather. This is an amazing time to be at Camp Rio, not very crowded... Come experience a few days of seeing more deer and turkey than you will humans!
Winter camping is awesome, a great time to ski, hike or visit other local attractions. Book 2 nights or more during 12/1/26 - 1/5/27 and take advantage of our holiday promotions.... What are they???? Call us to find out or sign up for our newsletters to have the "inside scoop" and know what your present will be!!!
2026 Save the Dates:
September: 5th Annual Fowl Mont @ 4:30 9/6/26, Ultimate Tailgate Event 9/4-9/6. Winners announced Labor Day 9/7.
October: We have moved our Chili Cook Off and Bean Bag/ Cornhole tournament 10/03/26 details and times TBA.
November: 5th Annual Friendsgiving November 14th following the observed day of 11/11/26. Hunter's and Skier's Specials, call to inquire.
December: The holidays are magical in the mountains. Hunter's and Skier's Specials, call to inquire.
2027 Save the Dates:
January - New Year's Eve and MLK Weekend Deals, continued skiers and hunter's specials
February - Valentine's Day and President's Day Love to Camp Event, continued skiers and hunter's specials

May - Be sure to book early, busy season starts through October, don't have FOMO, also the first leg of the 3rd Annual Triple Clown - The Ken Ducky Derby on Memorial Day Weekend, (Rubber Duck Races)
June - 1st Day of Summer and many local event. Father's Day Camping is a must!
July - the second leg of the 3rd Annual Triple Clown - The Beakness on Independence Day Weekend, (Rubber Duck Races)
August - An amazing time to beat the heat @ Camp Rio
September - the final leg of the 3rd Annual Triple Clown - The Fowl Mont, (Rubber Duck Races). Also the Lumberjack Festival, Cornhole Tournament and Chili Cook Off. Begin continued skiers and hunter's specials
October - Local Lumberjack Festival and Motorcycle Camping Weekend. continued skiers and hunter's specials
